Our device is the only method of odor control that works completely. We have mastered the technique of keeping the odor in the toilet bowl and removing it from there to an acceptable location where it is discharged slowly so that it isn’t noticeable. In the U.S. last year in excess of four billion dollars was spent on sprays, air fresheners, and other means of masking bathroom odors. The Jon-Air handles this problem by mounting a collector beneath the toilet seat. This collector is easily mounted by just removing the toilet seat. The two holes found on the rear of the seat line up with the holes on the collector so that alignment is no problem. The function of the toilet seat and lid are as they were, and there is no need for concern or even awareness of the collector in its place. A PVC pipe then fits into the discharge hole on the collector and goes down to a 90 degree elbow where the line (1 ½" PVC), runs under the tank to a hole drilled either into the wall or through the wall to the outside. The venting method is flexible and can be into an attic, a basement, or can be connected into the existing vent if it is installed during remodeling or during the initial construction phase. The fan and fan body are part of the system and may be placed in a number of places with the same results. All of the options have been fully tested and this information is available in a simple instruction sheet. This system has been found to be 100% effective and can be marketed well within the reach of any homeowner. This unit is even effective if the toilet isn’t flushed and the lid is left open for as long as a few days. Sometimes the very young forget to flush, but with the Jon-Air it never matters.
