1. Where does the Jon-Air vent?
The Jon-Air can be vented 
a. through the floor underneath the tank
b. into the wall cavity between the studs
c. through the wall to the outside or other air space
d. in the case of remodeling or new construction it may be vented 
    into the attic or air space above the room.
2. What if you are on a slab?
All of the options listed can be used except through the floor.
3. What kind of power is needed?
a. In the case of installation in a home or business standard household current is used. 
   That is 110volts or 115volts. 
b. In the case of marine or RV the option may be 12 volt or 110 volt.
c. Some countries require 220 voltage and this is available on special order.
d. The fan housing is the same on all voltages.
4. Does the Jon-Air ventilation system cause a drain on either heated or air conditioned areas?
No, the temperature differential never exceeds one degree from the point of intake to the point of discharge.
5. How long does the average installation take?
The average installation is about 1 hour. A plumber is not needed for the installation. Simple, user-friendly installation instruction are inn the kit and anyone with basic skills can install it.
6. Does installation have to be done at time or construction or time or remodeling?
No, it can be done at any time.
7. Does the fan in the Jon-Air run all of the time?
The fan is designed s that it can run continuously in most installations. However, if the air is being discharged into the wall cavity between the studs we recommend running the fan on demand. This can be done by wiring the fan through the light switch or by having an independent switch to control the fan. The other time for having the fan on a demand is when it is a 12-volt system and there is a danger or running the battery down.
8. What is included in the Jon-Air kit?
The kit consists of:
a. an air collector to be located between the toilet seat and the toilet bowl
b. the vent plug to plug the collector on the opposite side from the one that you discharging on
c. an insert pipe to fit in the collector
d. a discharge pipe that fits between the insert pipe and the 90 degree elbow
e. the fan
f. 2 O rings to located between the collector and the toilet seat.
All parts are made of white PVE so that they will be compatible with any piping that may be required and compatible with PVC glue.
9. What toilets will the Jon-Air fit?
We have found that the Jon-Air will fit all brand of toilets.
There are a few models that the Jon-Air will not fit. Those are the models where the tank and bowl are modeled as one.
10. Is the Jon-Air noisy?
No, the only noise in the Jon-Air is the fan and it makes much less noise that the fan on a PC computer
11. Which side of the toilet does the Jon-Air vent on?
The Jon-Air may be vented on either side for either mechanical or aesthetic reason. We suggest the opposite side from the bathroom doorway..
12. Where is the fan located?
The fan may be located in the bathroom or at the end of the discharge line. For more information look at the installation options.
13. How much does it cost to run a Jon-Air. 
Power costs are about the same in most states when you are talking about low usage products. The Jon-Air uses no more power than a night-light. The cost is about a penny a day.
14. Is the toilet seat level?
No. The seat has a slight pitch to the front. In previous models the seat was level but found that it is more user friendly to have the pitch forward. This makes it easier for a small child or an older person to get up and down after using the toilet and also changes the pitch of the legs of an adult thus aids in circulation for an adult. 
15. How long has the Jon-Air been on the market?
The Jon-Air has been on the market for 5 years. The C-3 is the third model to be offered for sale.
16. Is the Jon-Air strictly for home use?
No, other markets are
a. small offices where the bathroom is shared by a number of coworkers 
b. public bathrooms, medical facilities
c. restaurants
d. Post offices.
17. Is the Jon-Air hard to keep clean?
No, the Jon-Air requires no more trouble or time than the toilet that does not have a Jon-Air attached.
18. How much does the Jon-Air cost?
$95 (freight cost included) to Continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii.
